'F2' rampage continues at US Box office

Hyderabad, January 19: Latest multi- starrer F2: Fun and Frustration come up as box office winner in Sankranthi race. Venkatesh and Varun Tej played the lead roles in the film. Anil Ravipudi directed the film and is bankrolled by Dill Raju productions.

F2 turned out to be a clean hit by the end of its first week, in overseas. Till Friday, the film collected close to $ 70K at the US box office and the took the total past $ 1.25 M. The film is now officially into the profit zone. While other outcomes have failed to make an impact, F2 succeeded to grab the attention of overseas audience because of full-on entertainment.

After a strong first weekend, the film performed decently on weekdays to earn hit tag by trade circles. After a string of flops, producer Dil Raju finally tasted big success with F2. The film also features Tamannah and Mehreen as female leads.
