Objections raises on 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'

Mumbai, January 18: Kangana Ranaut s upcoming film Manikarnika is scheduled to release on 25th January. Now another objection raised on the film. Hindu outfit Karni Sena has raised issues on the film. It is said that Karni Sena is objecting to a scene where the Queen of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai had an affair with a British officer. They are also objecting to a scene where the queen is seen dancing.

Kangana Ranaut is set to fight against the Shri Rajput Karni Sena. The actress says if they don t stop harassing her, she will "destroy them".

Kangana said, "Four historians have certified Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me. If they don t stop, then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them." The film has been cleared by CBFC.



Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is the story of Laxmibai, Kangana represented the role of Laxmibai. The film also features Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Danny Denzongpa, Suresh Oberoi and Jisshu Sengupta.

This film will be specially screened for President of India, Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Friday.
