Imtiaz Ali talks about his next film

Mumbai, January 18: Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has announced about his next film. His upcoming film will be based on the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna.

Imtiaz Ali attended the launch event of Music composer Pritam Chakraborthy's new company 'JAM8', along with Karan Johar, Pritam Chakraborty, Advit Chandan and Kabir Khan on Thursday.

Last year on Janmashtami, he announced that he is going to direct an epic romantic film based on the story of Radha and Krishna. While interacting with media he said, "I am definitely going to make it, but I want to make it on a huge scale and that's what I am thinking. I think it will take time to make it properly. It's a big film but at the same time, I feel that the purity also should come so, it will take time to go on and actually make Radha Krishna".

Also, there were many speculations on the director's next film. Earlier, there was a news that Imtiaz is going to direct Shahid Kapoor after their previous hit 'Jab We Met', but recently Shahid made it clear that the project has taken back to the seat. Talking about collaborating with Shahid Kapoor Imtiaz said, "There are lots of stories with me. This time around, I wrote many stories. There were lots of things in my mind but I wasn't really able to do that."

There are some reports that Imtiaz is planning a sequel for his film 'Love Aaj Kal', featuring Karthik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. Regarding this film, he said, "I can't talk about it because we haven't announced anything regarding it. Now, we are at the drawing board and trying to work out things. As of now, nothing is confirmed, but we are working towards a film but right now, I can't say anything about it."

The film Radha Krishna is the dream project of Imtiaz Ali, He always wanted to see their love story on silver screen.
