Collections of 'Simmba'

Mumbai, January 17: After the release of Uri: The Surgical Strike , Ranveer Singh s Simmba collections slowed down at the box office. Apart from that, the film is achieving milestones at the theaters. Till now Simmba has earned Rs 231.31 crore and will cross the lifetime business of Salman Khan s Kick (Rs 233 crore) by today or tomorrow. If it happens then the film will become the eleventh highest grossing film of all-time after Baahubali, Dangal, Sanju, PK, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Padmaavat, Sultan, Dhoom3 and Krrish 3.

The film has already crossed the Rs 350 crore mark at the global box office and has become the biggest Bollywood earner of Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, and Dharma Productions. Director Rohit Shetty is "roaring globally", and said, "It feels incredible to see the excitement and fabulous response of the audience for Simmba in cinema halls everywhere. I am very happy with the appreciation the film is garnering."

"It is not about the numbers for me, it is basically to entertain people, to entertain as many as I can and as much as possible. I keep that purpose of life, I m an entertainer and I want to be the best entertainer. It s a single point agenda for me and personal ambition." Ranveer said.
