Hrithik's 'Super 30' release date locked

Mumbai, January 17: Bollywood hero Hrithik Roshan announced the release date of his upcoming film Super 30 . The film is set to release on July 26th. Earlier the makers have locked January 26th as the release date. But the director of the film Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment during India s MeToo movement.

So Hritik refused to work with Vikas and also asked the producers of Super 30 to change the director. For this reason, the shooting of the film got delayed. In a way, it happened all for the good. If Super 30 is set to release on January 26th then it is supposed to compete with Kangana Ranaut s Manikarnika . They both were supposed to hit the box office on the same day.

Kangana also did not compromise on the release of her directorial debut Manikarnika . Hrithik s Super 30 is based on mathematics genius Anand Kumar. Hritik announced the new release date through his official Twitter page.
