The TRS government has been receiving strong backlash for giving mining permissions in Nallamalla forests. Sever popular faces in the cinema industry and the political circles have taken to social media to protest against this decision.

Responding to all the protest, IT minister KTR tweeted that he would personally talk to the CM KCR about this matter. Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy was quick to retort against KTR's tweet.

He wrote, "Stop your drama of being ethical and revoke the mining permissions immediately if you are really concerned."

Several Congress leaders and supporters backed Revanth's tweet and demanded the government to take immediate action against the Uranium mining in Nallamalla forests.
