Superstar Mahesh Babu pinned many hopes on his recent outing Maharshi. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film released on Thursday and is running super strong across the circles of Telugu states. Mahesh has a strong fanbase in USA and his films generally mint huge money across the territory. But in a shocking move, Maharshi failed to open with a bang and the film managed to be low on the first and second day in USA.

With the film not getting occupancy in prime time theatres and Avengers: Endgame wave still on, Maharshi suffered massive openings. The negative reviews too had a huge impact on the collections of Maharshi. His past films opened with one million dollar mark but Maharshi is struggling to touch 1 million mark by the weekend. Going by the trend, Maharshi buyers may incur huge losses. Mahesh is a worried man with the overseas numbers.
