Poonam Kaur makes shocking comments about her audio tape leaks

Hyderabad, Apr 20: Poonam Kaur lodged a police complaint against 36 YouTube channels for allegedly posting objectionable content defaming her. Poonam complained about the cybercrime wing of the Hyderabad police that she was being harassed online for the last two years as some people were targeting her personal life. She took strong objection to indecent postings on social media.


Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime, Raghuveer said they registered a case on her complaint and they would take necessary action. Poonam Kaur also brought to the notice of police that a doctored audio conversation of her talking about actor-politician Pawan Kalyan was being circulated on YouTube. In this audio clip, Poonam was heard making allegations against Jana Sena chief.

She alleged that some people were deliberately doing this to draw political mileage. When she was asked if she was suspecting any particular group, Poonam said, "It is for the police to find out.” While speaking to the media, Poonam said, “I don't want to comment on that... all I can say is when I am talking to someone, or let's say, now when I am talking to you, will you record this conversation and put it up online? Is that a done thing? It’s sad that people have manipulated me and used me at a time when I was emotionally weak.
