Line Clear for RGV's Lakshmi's NTR

Lakshmi's NTR is one of the most controversial films in the recent times. Ram Gopal Varma and his associate Agasthya Manju directed the film which features a bunch of new faces. With some controversial content in the trailer, several complaints have been registered with the Election Commission to stop the film's release. The Election Commission and Censor board officials watched Lakshmi's NTR in a special screening today.

The film cleared all the censor formalities and has been awarded clean U certificate. The film has been passed with some possible cuts and the makers agreed for the cuts. Ram Gopal Varma clarified that the Election Commission and Censor Board had no issues with the film's content. We have to wait and see if Lakshmi's NTR now releases as per the announcement. The Telangana High Court issued a clearance for the film but the AP High Court is yet to clear the film's release.
