South actress to play lesbian in her Bollywood debut

Mumbai, Feb 02: South actress Regina Cassandra has played the role of lesbian in her Bollywood debut. In "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga" that starred Sonam Kapoor in the lead role, Regina has played Sonam s lover.

Sonam, who is lesbian, falls for the charm of Regina and both of them lead same-sex relationship. This is India s first mainstream lesbian love story.

Regina has accepted this bold role to get noticed in Bollywood. Although the film has been receiving bad ratings, Regina is getting appreciation.

One needs guts to play such role and Regina has proved that she is ready to experiment.
