Padi Padi Leche Manasu review

Hyderabad, December 21: Tollywood Talented Actor Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi s love entertainer Padi Padi Leche Manasu has finally made it into the theatres today on December 21st, 2018.

For this massive flick, Hanu Raghavapudi of Andala Rakshasi fame helmed this project. The expectations have been very high on this movie. The trailer of the film has already received a thumping response from the audience. Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas banner bankrolled this project. The director whose previous outing LIE ended up as a disaster at the box office wants to prove his mettle with this film. Let s see how far Hanu Raghavapudi succeeded in impressing the audience.

Story:

Surya (Sharwanand) follows Vaishali (Sai Pallavi) and expresses his love for him to which she accepts. Then arrives the conflict with Surya taking a bold decision to break up his relationship with her. Why did that happen? What happened after that? How did they unite again? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Sharwanand is undoubtedly the show stealer. He has delivered an outstanding performance. The way he portrayed each and every emotion in the movie will definitely impress the audience. Sai Pallavi looked gorgeous in the film. Especially as a medico, she is an absolute stunner. The chemistry between Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi is an eye feast to watch. The duo maintained sizzling hot chemistry which is one of the major driving factors off for this film. Murali Sharma justified his role. Vennela Kishore will definitely make us laugh. His comedy timing in the film is too good. Sunil performed well. Priyadarshi also made his presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

Especially, with the backdrop of Kolkata which gave the fresh feel to the love story, the visuals by cinematographer Jay Kay came out stunningly well. Music by Vishal Chandrasekhar is astounding. His peppy numbers have already become chartbusters and his background score is also fantastic. The production values of Sudhakar Cherukuri are pretty decent. The runtime is bearable. Editing by Sreekar Prasad is clean.

Verdict:

The director has penned an absolutely cute and sweet love story. He not only executed the script well but will definitely impressed the audience with his beautiful narration. But this is only in the first half of the movie. Compared to the first half, the second half of the movie is weak and boring too. The director has brought up the story to a great conflict but he just failed to execute it and convey it in a convincing manner. Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi impressed in their parts. The camera work, music and visual grandeur made the movie watchable once.

RATING: 3/5
