The government of AP decided to extend the curfew.

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to extend the curfew till this month end. Announcing this here on Monday, Chief Minister YS Jagan mohan Reddy said that curfew should be imposed for at least four weeks for achieving the desired results and pointed out that it was only about ten days since it was introduced in the state.

During a review meeting here, also directed the officials to ensure that the number of Covid cases did not increase in rural areas. The volunteers and Asha workers should utilize the secretariat system properly.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to take steps to support the children who had lost their parents due to the coronavirus disease and come out with an action plan to provide them financial assistance. They could plan to deposit some amount and use the interest accrued on it to meet the expenses of the children.
