AP Updates: Govt imposes partial curfew now!

The number of coronavirus cases and the situation of the pandemic is worsening with every passing day in the country and in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Considering that the night curfew in the state hasn't been of any help, the government of AP has now introduced a partial curfew in the state.

The curfew starts from 12 PM in the afternoon and goes up to 6 AM in the morning. All shops and establishments can work only between 6 AM and 12 PM for two weeks from now, and only emergency services would be allowed to function after that. Section 144 is also said to be in effect during these hours.

Health Minister Alla Nani said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed everyone to make sure that the curfew is being followed strictly and that all safety protocols are being followed all over the state. He also said that the CM has even ordered an increase in the number of beds in the country.
