Shaakuntalam movie Update

It is already known that Samantha Akkineni is currently working on Gunasekhar's Shaakuntalam, which is based on the love story between Shakuntala and Dushyanth. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is playing the role of Dushyanth in this periodic epic.


Taking to Twitter, Gunasekhar's wife, Neelima Guna, shared a picture of Shiva Linga. In the caption, she stated that Shiva pooja scene is being shot, and coincidentally, it happens to be Monday. Mondays are considered to be special for worshipping Lord Shiva. Here's hoping that this coincidence pays off well for the film.

Mani Sharma is the music director for the film, and Neelima Guna is the producer for the film. This is Gunasekhar's first film after Rudramadevi, which received lukewarm reviews.
