Nara Chandrababu Naidu claims credit for Covid vaccine!

Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is back at it again. He claimed credit for the Covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin-which is being manufactured by Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad.

I appreciate Bharat Biotech for developing India first indigenous vaccine. A few people are politicising this massive development and that is unacceptable. It is proud that a company which is run by a Telugu man is in pole position in vaccine development, he said.

Naidu went on to say that he was the one who planned to develop Genome valley in Hyderabad which would facilitate th development of pharma and medical industries.

I had a vision 20 years ago and developed Genome valley in Hyderabad. That is the reason why a company run by a Telugu man is able to make great progress in vaccine development now, he said.

During the GHMC elections, Naidu said he is the reason why Hyderabad became a global city. Now, he is claiming credit for the development of Covid vaccine.
