Msd to take massive decision ahead of IPL

It is already known that Chennai Super Kings star player Suresh Raina returned to India before the start of the tournament, citing personal reasons. It was said that he would be missing the entire tournament, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

Apparently, Raina is ready to get back to UAE if the team really needs him.


When asked about Raina's possible return to the tournament, CSK chairperson Srinivasan made a very interesting comment.

"I am the owner of CSK franchise. I own the team but not the players. It is up to the captain and management to decide who is needed and who is not. Our captain MS Dhoni will take the final call on Raina. The team will make an official announcement when the decision is made," he said.

Well, it appears to be that Dhoni is the one who would be taking the final call on Raina's possible return to the IPL. Needless to say, the latter has been an integral part of the franchise for man years now and we can expect Dhoni to ask Raina to head back to UAE and take part in the tournament. CSK will be taking on Mumbai Indians in the first match of the tournament which is on September 19th.
