Atchannaidu as TDP Andhra Pradesh wing president

Telugu Desam Party senior leader Atchannaidu was recently released from jail after he was arrested for his alleged involvement in ESI hospital scam.


Coming to the topic, Atchannaidu might soon be appointed as Telugu Desam Party Andhra Pradesh wing president.

Reportedly, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu opines that giving the president post to a firebrand leader like Atchannaidu will give the party more mileage.

The tenure of the current president, Kala Venkat Rao had already come to an end. Atchannaidu's appointment is all but confirmed.

Atchannaidu has been speaking against the YCP government for a long time now and TDP feels that appointing a leader from BC community will help the party in more ways than one.

It is said that Chandrababu will be announcing Atchannaidu as TDP Andhra Pradesh wing president in a month or so.
