Prashanth Varma's Zombie Reddy

Awe movie produced by Natural Star Nani and directed by young director, Prashanth Varma, got critical acclaim and box office result wasn't negative either. Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Nithya Menen, Eesha Rebba, Avasarala Srinivas, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma along with Nani and Ravi Teja as voice actors starred in the film.

Post that the director tried his hands at a different film from his first one in a more commercial format with Dr. Rajasekhar in the lead role, Kalki. Movie turned out to be a disaster and the distaste in handling a good subject by Prashanth Varma was criticised by audiences and critics, alike.
Now, he announced his third film title on 8th August. The film will be a Zombie-calypse drama and he did release a teaser with the first announcement that he will be making a virus centric film.

He did use the tagline that Corona Virus is just the start, in that teaser. Taking it Zombie route, the director announced title, Zombie Reddy for the film. The title indicates movie will be a parody on commercial films and a good healthy satire/comedy with Zombies as the main characters will be a first for Telugu Cinema.

The buzz for the film could pick up once the team is ready to share live action teaser of the film. The regular shoot of the film will start from September, say sources.
