2,092 new cases in the last 24 hours

The state of Telangana is conducting a considerable amount of tests, especially when compared to how it was not conducting sufficient tests a few weeks ago.


Telangana has reported 2,092 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 73,050. Additionally, 13 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 589.

Also, Telangana announced 1,289 recoveries over the past 24 hours to take the total recoveries to 52,103 persons, constituting a recovery rate of 71.3% as against the national average of 67.19%.

Currently, a total of 20,358 cases are active, and the state has tested 21,346 samples in the last 24 hours.
