New Update on India Covid-19

The last 24 hours saw yet another highest jump in the number of new cases in a single day. A total of 45,720 new cases were reported, taking the total number of cases in the country beyond the mark of 12 Lakhs.

The number of fatalities too saw a huge spike in the last 24 hours, with a total of 1,129 people dying in the last 24 hours. This took the total death toll to 29,861.

On the other hand, the number of recoveries is very impressive, with 7,82,606 people having recovered and discharged so far. The number of active cases now stands at 4,26,167.

There is a very impressive and substantial difference between the number of active cases and recovered cases, but that is alone not enough to make sure we come out of this unscathed.

We should all be more careful when we step out and make sure that we're safe, along with those around us.
