More than 8,000 people tested positive in the last 24 hours

Coronavirus initially started out in India when people who returned from foreign tested positive for the virus. For a long time, it was only these people who kept testing positive for the virus.

However, the picture is quite different now, with thousands of people testing positive on a single day. More than 8,000 people tested positive in the last 24 hours, and the numbers are only increasing by the day.

The government has repeatedly been denying community transmission in the country, but the cases wouldn't have spike if there wasn't any community transmission in the country.

Many people who have not been associated with foreign returned people have tested positive till now, and continue to do so.
