Educational institutions to remain closed

With India entering its last and final week of the initially proposed 21-day lockdown, everyone has started to wonder if the nationwide lockdown in India will be lifted after April 14th.

The Chief Ministers of various states are requesting the central government to extend the lockdown till June 3rd, keeping in mind the increasing number of cases. However, several sources say that the lockdown might partially be lifted after April 14th.

A little movement may be possible after April 14th, for at least 2 days, after which the lockdown rules might once again be put into effect.

On the other hand, no educational institutions will be opened till the 15th of May, and no public events will also be allowed until then.

Nothing is clear as of now, and only an official announcement from the government can put an end to all of this confusion.
