22,000 cases linked with 'Delhi meeting'

It is already known that there has been a spike in the number of Coronavirus positive cases in India after the religious congregation meeting in Delhi last month.

As per latest report submitted by the home department of India, a total of 22,000 cases are linked with this religious congregation.

Reportedly, over 1000 people, including the ones who attended the meeting and their family members have tested positive for Coronavirus. The family members of the suspected cases are kept under the scanner now.

Over 30% of the Coronavirus positive cases in India are directly or indirectly linked with the Tablighi jamaat meeting in Delhi, say reports.

It needs to be noted that over 1000 each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana attended this meeting. The respective State governments are tracking them now.

The total number of Coronavirus positive cases have crossed 3000 in India.
