Thammineni Sitharam Sensational Comments

The speaker of Andhra Pradesh assembly Thammineni Sitharam made some very intriguing comments on the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

"Going to Andhra Pradesh capital is like visiting a desert in Rajasthan. I don't get the feeling that Amaravati is the capital of Andhra Pradesh," he said.

Notably, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has already announced that the YCP government is planning on developing three capitals in Andhra Pradesh. Now, the speaker is saying that the current capital, Amaravati doesn't seem like the right one.

Incidentally, farmers in the capital region are protesting against the YCP government for trying to shift the capital from Amaravati.
