Natural Star Nani to romance Malayalam Beauty

Hyderabad, Aug 15: Tollywood Natural star Nani will essay the role of an aged cricketer in forthcoming sports drama Jersey.

Gautham Tinnanuri, who impressed with his directional skills in Sumanth's Malli Raava, will helm this interesting film which is set in the backdrop of cricket.

According to the latest reports, the makers have approached Malayalam starlet Rebe Monica John to play Nani's romantic interest in the film.

The director is looking for an actress who can bring a whiff of freshness to his female lead character. So, he wanted to import a relatively new star and came across Reba.

Gautham recently met her and narrated the role. The actress is likely to jump on the board very soon as she is desperate to make in roads in South India film industry.
