Vijetha: Shocking truth revealed about Kalyaan Dhev

New Delhi, Jul 10: Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son in law Kalyan Dev is making his debut with Vijetha which is slated for a grand release on July 12. Kalyan Dev is romancing Malavika Nair in the film directed by Rajesh Shashi.

Even as expectations are increasing on the film which is titled after Mega Star Chiranjeevi's super hit film Vijetha, Rajesh Shashi made shocking revelations about the film.

Director Rakesh Sashi is directing his second film Vijetha with Kalyan Dev, the son-in-law of Megastar Chiranjeevi.

"My first film Jatha Kalise was released by producer Sai Korrapati and at that time, I committed to a film with him. So after I prepared my story, I met Satyanand master in Vizag and asked him if there was any newcomer for my story," reveals Rakesh about his film.

He adds, “Satyanand Master recommended Kalyan Dev, who was incidentally training at his acting school. But it was only after I met him that I came to know that he is Chiranjeevi's son-in-law.”

Two days later, the director reveals that he got a call from Chiranjeevi himself. “I gave him a narration with dialogues and he appreciated me. He also gave a few suggestions,” says Rakesh.

Describing the film, the director says, "It deals with a father and son relationship. It also reflects middle-class family problems, so many people can relate to the story."

Since Kalyan hails from a rich family, the director reveals, "He did a lot of homework in that area."

Rakesh adds that the film does not contain any dialogues or mannerisms of Chiranjeevi and runs strictly according to the story.
