Naga Chaitanya about ANR role in Mahanati

Hyderabad, May 30: As we know that, Tollywood prestigious film Mahanati-the biopic legendary actress Savitri, which has been running successfully and gains applauses from all corners. Keerthy Suresh has portrayed as actress Savitri.

Young Hero Naga Chaitanya was not exactly overwhelmed to play the role of the colossus of Telugu film, his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswar Rao, in Mahanati. When asked he wanted to somehow excuse himself out of it.

But today Chaitu is proud to have played that role of his lifetime. He relates how he tried to get into the feet of his grandfather.

Chaitanya has shared his experience as playing his grandfather character in the Mahanati.



Director Nag Ashwin too convinced him about the role that has hardly two minutes screen time. Naga Chaitanya said that he is happy to be in such a content-oriented film, which the audience have cheered lustily.
