Dulquer fans trolled Rakul badly

Hyderabad, May 30: Tollywood Typical Director Nag Ashwin's Mahanati has been receiving the great reviews from critics, audiences and film personalities alike.

Even top actors and filmmakers such as SS Rajamouli and Mohanlal have been raving about it. The latest to join the list is Rakul Preet Singh.

She posted on her Twitter page about Mahanati and congratulated the team. Her post read: “Finally saw #Mahanati n it’s a “MASTERPIECE”.. kudos 2 d entire team 4 making a film like this. Savitri garu will be remembered forever! #KeerthySuresh what a lovely performance ! Take a bow ..#Samantha #VijayDevarkonda.”

However, the omission of Dulquer Salmaan's name has made the actor's self-professed fans outrage against her.

The Star, Dulquer Salmaan, one of the most talented and accomplished actors in south Indian film industry, made his debut in Tollywood with Mahanati.

He played Savitri's husband and actor Gemini Ganesan in the biopic. The star's acting has also received positive reviews.

The film, which is based on the life of legendary actress Savitri, stars Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles.
