DJ Villian roped for YSR Biopic

Hyderabad, May 13: Currently, the trend of biopics is running in Tollywood. After witnessing the life of iconic yesteryear actress Savitri with the recently released Mahanati.

Now, Telugu audience are soon going to see the biopic of former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Titled as Yatra, the film is going to go on floors in mid June.

Reports suggest that the makers of this much-awaited biopic have roped in popular character artist Rao Ramesh for the role of K.V. P Rama Chandra Rao, a close aide of Rajasekhar Reddy. As the biopic focusses much on YSR's political life, KVP's role will have ample prominence in it. So, the makers have decided to cast a familiar face for the role.

Rao Ramesh has signed the dotted line and will join the sets in the first schedule. The remaining cast is yet to be finalized.

Mahi V Raghav will direct this biopic which is expected to hit the screens early next year.
