Samantha to compete herself

Hyderabad, Jan 31: The Tollywood beautiful actress Samantha Akkineni and Vishal Starrer action Techno Thriller film Abhimanyudu, was scheduled to hit the theaters in January on the occasion of Pongal, but later the makers postponed the release of the movie to Republic Day weekend.

Unfortunately, the movie did not release last week. Now according to the latest update, the makers have locked the new release date of the film on 29th March.

Vishal took to Twitter to confirm this news as he tweeted, "Test preview no 4 worked out Gud for #Irumbuthirai #Abhimanyudu. All suggestions noted.@Psmithran @george_dop @AntonyLRuben @Samanthaprabhu2. March 29th. Will be Gud. God bless."



In this manner, If Irumbu Thirai/ Abhimanyudu, will release on 29th March, Samantha will have to compete with herself because Nag Ashwin's directorial venture Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savithri in which Keerthy Suresh is playing titular role and Samantha Akkineni is essaying narrator and her best friend Jamuna, is also arriving at the theaters on same day. If both films release on the same day, it's going to be Samantha Vs Samantha clash.

On the other-side, Samantha and Ram Charan starrer Rangasthalam 1985, a village-based drama, directed by Sukumar is also scheduled to hit the theaters on 30th March 2018.
