DMK leader Karunanidhi death rumours rubbished

Rumours about demise of Karunanidhi were spreading like fire on internet but party's working president MK Stalin said that his father's health condition is fine and that he was doing well.

Last month Karunanidhi was hospitalized and he was discharged after undergoing an operation. Leaders across party lines had visited the hospital to enquire about his well-being.

"My father is fine and healthy. Rumours about his death or ill health are completety baseless", MK Stalin said while speaking to reporters. Other DMK leaders TR Baalu, K Anbazhagan and Arcot Veerasamy also echoed Stalin's view.

"Our leader is well. There is nothing wrong with him", TR Baalu said. Baalu, Anbazhagan and Arcot Veerasamy went and met the 93-year-old DMK patriarch.
