Sridevi opened up about Sivagami role

Hyderabad, June 11: The iconic role of Sivagami in the 'Baahubali' franchise was initially offered to Sridevi but she had declined the offer. Even Rajamouli has confirmed the same in a recent interview and said that they could not agree to her remuneration demands. Whatever be the case, missing Sivagami role turned out to be costly for Sridevi.

Sridevi is presently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film 'MOM'. Whenever Sridevi is addressing a press meet, reporters are asking her about refusing Sivagami role. Sridevi kept on avoiding the questions on Sivagami. In a recent press meet, she was again probed on the reason for turning down Sivagami role. Sridevi answered that "Another actor played that role and both parts were released. They became hits. What's the point in talking about it now?"

Some netizens opine that Sridevi has a point. She has refused the role and Ramya Krishna accepted it and excelled with the wonderful performance. It is past thing now. What's the point in digging the past? It seems they are expecting Sridevi to come up with an answer "I made a terrible mistake. I should have accepted Sivagami role. I feel sad for refusing such a great offer".

She will not come up with such an answer.. reporters will not leave her until the time she comes up with similar answer.. it is the typical situation.
