Baahubali at International Film Festival

Hyderabad, May 22: SS Rajamouli's Baahubali as created sensation at the Indian box office and wiped off all the records. Adding one more feather to its hat, Baahubali is going to be the first Telugu feature movie to be screened at the Cannes Market. Both the parts of the movie are going to be screened at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' are going to be screened at the 70th edition of Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France. Corroborating the same, producer Shobu Yarlagadda said that the film would be available at 'Market' - a marketplace.

For starters, the Market - The Marche du Film- is known as the world's largest movie marketplace where 80 percent of the film's business is done there. Distributors of various places in the world look for the next big buy and sales agents representing slates of movies can also be found in abundance at the Market.



Deals, sales, and appointments happen at the market as the film is first and foremost a commodity. Badge holders from various countries visit the Market. Distributors, agents, financiers and representatives of top film production companies attend the Market.

And not all films would be screened there. Only a few are screened. 'BB 1' and 'BB 2' both are going to be screened at the market. The Screening of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is expected to further increase the prospects of the business of Baahubali films.
