Amaravathi, October 14: The Andhra Pradesh State administration is in full swing and people from about 13 districts are shifting to the State capital, Amaravathi. Hence, the government took measures to complete the construction of internal roads by the end of Dasara festival holidays.
Velagapudi, the venue of AP temporary secretariat is buzzing with the employees. The government has speeded up operations to complete the pending works. The works of internal roads in the secretariat and roads linking the six blocks, legislative assembly, and legislative council have speeded up.
Most of the employees left to their native places for Dasara holidays and they would be back to duty only on Monday, as second Saturday and Sunday added up to the holidays. The officials are hurrying up to complete road works and also plantation works before the employees resume work.
Along with them, the pending works of technical, network, cable etc in a few blocks were also nearing completion.
