Snapdeal to merge with Flipkart?

Delhi MAY 12: Another merger of two companies is doing buzz in the country. We know that Indias no 2 and no 3 Telecom Companies have announced merger. It's time for Snapdeal to merge with Flipkart.

we know that SD is an E-Commerce company. Sources say that SoftBank the main promoter of company is likely to invest a large sum in the merged entity so that present founders would exit the company.

Officials say that the company has agreed to merge with rival Indian base Online shopping Platform. We know that the company has been preparing for the merger from last few months because it has laid off more than 2000 employees in last 3 months. Employment sources say that currently there are very few employees in the company.



We know that the company was found in 2010 and its main investors are SoftBank, Kalaari Capital, Temasek, Alibaba Group, eBay.

We know that the bank has suffered a huge loss in last financial year by investing in Snapdeal. Finally, sources say that Softbank has agreed to the merger of the company to avoid further losses in future.
