RGV commented on the Bruce Lee maker

Hyderabad May 09: Veteran director Sekhar Kapur who has made movies in Hollywood and again he is going to direct another movie. This time he will be making this biopic of martial arts legend who is a talented actor, director, and producer to is non-other than 'Bruce Lee'.

Teaming up with legendary Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon Lee, Sekhar will be co-writing the script and direct the movie too. Currently, this Hollywood project is under the search for a new actor to portray Bruce Lee on the silver screen. The movie will be set in colorful Hongkong of the 90s and how Bruce Lee became a legend in his own right. Titled "Little Dragon", it deals with major events of young Bruce Lee including his family's disappointment, betrayal, racism, and struggles in Hollywood.



Immediately after knowing this news, Our controversial Telugu director Ram Gopal Varma who claims himself as hardcore Bruce Lee fan and always says that he copied 'Enter The Dragon' story and style for 'Siva', has an announcement to make.

"Just because of my devotional worship of Bruce Lee I am going to make his biopic and release it the same time as Shekar Kapur's authorized one. I have nothing against Shekar Kapoor who I admire immensely but it's just my obsessive fascination for Bruce Lee. In spite of closeness of family and brilliance of Shekar. I believe only I can do justice to do his biopic", RGV tweeted.
