Sanjeevaiah Park to get more fecilities

Hyderabad, May 09: The Telangana government now focussed on the tourist places and parks etc.Here it is planning to modify and to add more facilities to the various parks.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is providing more facilities to visitors thronging Sanjeevaiah Park on the banks of Hussainsagar to check-out the towering national flag of height 290 feet.

With an aim to attract visitors, the HMDA is developing a platform and putting up a fence around 30 meters of the flag.

The HMDA is also developing greenery for the convenience those visiting the tourist hotspot place. The works are being taken up at a cost of over Rs 45 lakh, an official said.

He added that as many as 2,000 people are visiting the area every day to have a glance of the tricolor.

The 290 feet tricolor measuring 72 by 108 feet was put up at Sanjeevaiah Park last year with a cost of over Rs 3 crore.
