Nani calls for blood donation

Visakhapatnam April 28: Tollywood Young hero Nani, on Thursday he requested to the people to donate blood to save lives.

Addressing a media conference here, he said that the city blood banks are facing an acute shortage of blood and that every person should come forward for the social cause of blood donation.

He also pointed out the health issues in women and said that ninety percent of women these days are anemic. He also gave tips to improve the health condition by pointing out a few diet balancing tips, such as eating iron-rich meals like whole egg omelets, green-leafy vegetables, meat, and seafood.

Nani said, "According to the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, patients often complain of fatigue, weakness, and anemia. The reason for this is that blood cells do not receive enough oxygen, because of which muscles do not work efficiently, causing body ache."

CEO of Symbiosys Technologies O Naresh Kumar, Rotary assistant governor PLK Murthy and others attended the conference.
