Man tried to commit suicide at Kotak Mahindra Bank

Hyderabad, April 4: A Panic incident has occurred at Kotak Mahindra Bank on SD Road, Secunderabad on Monday.

While coming to details, Ashwin(35), A software engineer was tried to kill himself with a knife at 2 Pm, where his wife has been working as Assistant Manager in Kotak Mahindra bank.

According to police, he was in a bad mental condition. When he could not find his wife Subodha in her seat, he asked her colleagues where she was. He was informed that she went out during the lunch break.



On hearing so, Ashwin started abusing bank employees. When it was tried to send him out of the bank, Ashwin pulled out the knife from his pocket and threatened to kill himself.

He was taken into police custody. Later at the police station, Ashwin told the cops that family problems had made him behave in a violent manner. He is said to have earlier tried to commit suicide by throwing himself before a train at Kachiguda on Sunday.
