Telangana Assembly Budget session postponed

Hyderabad, February 16: The Telangana government has been decided to postpone the Assembly budget session of the state to next month, which was scheduled to be held in the last week of February.Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed all the departments to tune their proposals in order to present a budget keeping in view of 2018 polls.KCR also is keen to introduce unique welfare and development programs targeting the revival of all traditional occupations such as handlooms, fishing, art crafts, self-employment schemes, sheep and goat farming and village poultry farms.Currently, the officials are busy with the proposals indicating that they would need at least three weeks time to finalize the fund requirements. Hence, the budget session is most likely to be held in March second week.
