Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions from Today

After YSRCP formed the government in Andhra Pradesh, the Assembly sessions are all set to start from today. The sessions will take place for 5 days. The first-ever meeting will take place at 11 AM today and the protem speaker S China Venkata Appalanaidu will ask the MLAs to take an oath before the sessions kick-start. YS Jaganmohan Reddy will take the first oath and will be followed by Chandra Babu Naidu after which the other legislators will take their oath.

The speaker will be elected today and YSRCP already locked Tammineni Seetharam for the position and it would be a formal process. Governor ESL Narasimhan will address both the houses on Friday and several discussions are expected to take place on June 17th and 18th in the state Assembly. All the YSRCP, TDP and other elected MLAs are asked to attend the first Assembly sessions without fail.
