TATA Harrier enters Indian Market

Mumbai, January 24: The Tata Harrier is a compact segment sports utility vehicle designed by the Indian automaker Tata Motors. It was launched in Indian market on 23 January 2019. Its now available in 4 varients i.e., XE, XM, XT, XZ. The main features of this car includes 2.0litre diesel engine, 6- speed manual gear box and has a single power train. The price of this car lies between 12.26 lakhs to 16.69 lakhs. This is the first car is based on the OmegaArc platform, a re-engineered version of the Jaguar Land Rover D8 platform adopted by models such as Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and Jaguar E-Pace.


When it comes to safety, the new Tata Harrier SUV gets 6 airbags and advanced electronic stability program (ESP) with added functionalities such as – ABS with EBD, Electronic Traction Control, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Hydraulic Brake Assist and Many more. "This was released on the plan of Turn around 2.0." said TATA Motors President Maanikh Piyakh.
