Soanpapidi receipe

Hyderabad Dec 17: Currently many people are fond of soanpapidi and it is a sweet which can be prepared at home. The recipe of the sweet is as followsIngredients# Gram flour- 1 1/4 cup# Maida Flour-1 1/4 cup# Ghee-250 g# sugar- 2 1/2 cups# water # milk -2 Tsp # cardamom crushed -1/2 Tsp# charmagaz -2 TspPreparation method# Mix gram flour and Maida flour# Heat the ghee in a pan# Add Flour mixture and roast until golden color is achieved# Prepare sugar syrup by adding sugar to boiling water# Mix the roasted flour in the sugar syrup# Beat the mixture till threadlike flakes appear# Spread the mixture on a greased bowl and roll the mixture# Sprinkle the charmagaz seeds and elaichi and gently press down with palm.# Cool the mixture and cut into squares, wrap individually into square pieces of thin plastic sheet.
