KCR :New Policy for sale and purchase of agricultural lands

Hyderabad Nov 1: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday has announced that "a new policy on the sale and purchase of agricultural lands would be introduced in the State."The Chief Minister has taken this decision after he conducted a meeting with the State level bankers and officials from the Agriculture Department here at Pragathi Bhavan. He said the "existing guidelines were creating many hurdles in the transfer of ownership of lands."The CM has instructed officials to design a new policy which is efficient and simple so that people don t face multiple offices. KCR has also said that "the State-wide land purification programme would be completed by December 31 and new passbooks will be issued from January 1".Finally, he has urged bankers to sanction the loans based on the new records in the farmer-friendly atmosphere.
