Telangana CM urges to rename the Metro station.

Hyderabad, Nov 01: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to take measures to rename Balanagar Metro railway station as Ambedkar Junction Metro station.The Chief Minister responded positively to a formal request made by Kukatpally Assembly segment MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Member of Parliament Mallareddy, MLC Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao, and Sambipur Raju to rename the station Metro Railway Station as Ambedkar Junction Metro station.They met the Chief Minister in Pragati Bhavan and submitted a memorandum. They said that there Was Ambedkar Statue at the Y Junction and people call it as Ambedkar Junction and Birth Anniversary of Ambedkar was being celebrated officially there.The Chief Minister has positively responded to their request and asked the officials concerned to take action, an official statement said here today.
