World Telugu Conferences to be held on Dec 15 to 19

Hyderabad, Oct 29: The World Telugu Conferences will be conducted at LB Stadium in the City from December 15 to 19, Telangana Chief Secretary SP Singh said here on Saturday. Singh instructed that the officials invite President Ramnath Kovind for inaugural and Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the grand finale. He conducted a review meeting World Telugu Conferences at Secretariat here attended by government advisor Dr KV Ramana Chary, core committee members Nandini Sidha Reddy, CM, OSD and Poet Deshapathi Srinivas, Prof SV Satyanarayana and officials. He asked for department wise review on the same and discussed on the event to be held for five days. The World Telugu Conferences will be conducted in such a way that the youngest Telangana state reflects its cculture, tradition, and language to the world over, he said. About 1000 delegates including literary, language pundits, experts, professors and teachers to the world event to be attended over by 5000 people at LB Stadium. He said that seven stages will be set up for the event to be made public through hoardings, LED screens and publicity. KCR s ideas should be reflected in the mega event by conducting the world Telugu Conferences in a grand manner by offering great welcome to the delegates. SP Singh asked the officials to make arrangements for setting up welcome arches, make better publicity, decorate and beautify main monuments, buildings, various thoroughfares of the city to mark the occasion and ensure that the shops have Telugu names.
