Ahmed El Sheikh new CEO of PepsiCo India; ex-CEO Shivakumar quits, join Aditya Birla Group

Shivakumar who served as CEO of PepsiCo India for nearly four years has resigned from his post. Shivakumar will now join Aditya Birla Group as the head of strategy and business development.The new CEO of PepsiCo India is Ahmed El Sheikh, senior vice president and general manager for PepsiCo Egypt and Jordan.“Shiv has been with PepsiCo for the past four years and has been instrumental in leading the transformation journey for the company,” PepsiCo CEO Asia, Middle East and North Africa (AMENA) Sector Sanjeev Chadha said.Shivakumar will join the company in “three months or so”,Santrupt Misra, director(human resources) and chief executive officer said.
