Jayalalithaa has to recuperate

Chennai, Nov 12 : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa s infection is fully under control and she needs recuperation, Apollo Hospitals said on Saturday.Jayalalithaa s infection is under control and what is needed is recuperation, Apollo Hospitals Chairman Pratap C. Reddy told reporters here.According to him, Jayalalithaa s discharge depends on her as she can go home whenever she feels like.The 68-year-old Jayalalithaa was admitted to the hospital for fever and dehydration on September 22.The doctors later said she needed a longer stay at the hospital as she was suffering from infection and put her on respiratory support.According to Apollo Hospitals, a team of specialist doctors -- cardiologists, respiratory physicians, consultants for infectious diseases, diabetologist and endocrinologist -- treated her.
