New Delhi, MAY 11: Natco Pharma has launched a generic version of pomalidomide capsules on Wednesday in India. We know that Pomalidomide is the drug used to treat blood cancer.The Company said we are launching a generic drug to treat Myeloma which is a type of blood cancer. The company said that these capsules are available in strengths of 1 mg, 2 mg and 4 mg in the country. We know that Pomalidomide is sold by Celgene Inc in the USA. Earlier this month the Pharma Company has launched a drug for Hepatitis C patients in India.Natco Pharma said that these drugs will be available in medical shops under the brand name POMALID in India. The prices of capsules of 21 tablets are as follows 1 mg - Rs. 5000. 2 mg - Rs. 10000. 4 mg - Rs. 20000.Finally, the company said that the drugs are available at a very low cost and it is sold at 98 % discounted prices compared to the USA.
