ATM got damaged for no cash

Hyderabad, March 15: A man has been damaged the one of the ATM in twin cities for not being able to withdraw cash from ATM here in KOTI Hyderabad

He was identified as Amir Khan, who broke the glass with his knee which was injured as a result of his action, said a police official of Hyderabad

The incident took place in a Federal Bank ATM in Koti, said the official.



According to the police officials, A resident of Santosh Nagar, Amir was angry over failing to get cash from ATMs in the city, he added. After the incident, Amir was booked under Section 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act as well.

His frustration, however, was not uncalled for, as several ATMs in the city are running dry and those with cash were found having long lines even on Tuesday at several places.
